Rules and regulations are changing with smoke alarms. From November 2023 the Building Code will change, to make the minimum fire safety systems for new homes interconnected smoke alarms. (one triggers they all trigger)

This can be done through hard wired 230V interconnected alarms or through wireless interconnected 10 year battery detectors.

Thank goodness the sightly bulky smoke detectors are becoming a thing of the past, and new recessed aesthetically pleasing detectors are here!
